Founder & Managing Director
As the founder and Managing Director of Finance 4 Business, I am proud of what has already been achieved and excited by the future. I started life within the graduate scheme of Lloyds Bank, making an instantaneous impact. I exceeded all targets, being promoted on a number of occasions but became frustrated at the lack of flexibility and governance.
Finance 4 Business has become a multi-award winning organisation, but my plans go much further. My ambition is to evolve Finance 4 Business into a league of its own and demonstrate broking as the new banking.
Director (Finance & Risk)
Having spent 30 years with Lloyds Bank working within both retail and commercial sectors where I developed an extensive knowledge of personal and corporate finance.
Towards the end of my Lloyds career, I worked across the West Midlands and successfully managed a large portfolio of commercial clients before moving into Business Development.
In 2011 I joined Finance 4 Business as Head of Underwriting and have assumed responsibility for Compliance, Company Financial Management and overseeing the company’s completions team.
I have gained qualifications in Law relating to Banking, Accountancy, Economics, Finance of International Trade, Investments and more recently in UKFR (UK Financial Regulation) and CeMap (Certificate in Mortgage Advice & Practice).
My financial services career started at Commercial First Mortgages within the Sales and Marketing Department, as an Internal Sales Co-ordinator. My organisation and leadership skills were soon recognised and I was promoted to Project Specialist where I was responsible for the development of new projects working closely with Department Heads and Directors. My role incorporated the management of the Internal Sales Team.
In 2010, Russell asked me to join Finance 4 Business as Office Manager to assist with the development of the business. As the company expanded, I was promoted to Director of Operations. My role encompasses various factors including overseeing the Marketing Department and managing day to day operations.
My career started at Lloyds bank, joining straight from school. 24 years of continual service, 10 of these being in the commercial property sector, it was time to explore other opportunities.
With my depth of knowledge and experience, I joined Finance 4 Business in 2014. Initially to set up the Commercial Mortgage Desk and package complex Bridging arrangements, I quickly established a lucrative division of the company. I was promoted to Director (Mortgages), joining the Senior Management Team in the process. Now expanding the division and looking to increase revenue further.
Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family, holidays and sport.
Director (Intermediary Relations)
With a career in financial services spanning over 20 years, I started my career at the Yorkshire Building Society and Accord mortgages before joining SPPL in 2006.
In 2007 I was a co-founding director of V Loans until the business was acquired by Key Retirement Group in Oct 2014. Having worked with Finance 4 Business over a number of years in a professional capacity, I was delighted to join as Head of Intermediary Relations in Jan 2017. Finance 4 Business have exciting growth plans for the future, with a real focus on delivering an unrivalled service proposition to our new and existing intermediary partners.
Senior Business Development Manager
I have joined Finance 4 Business as a Senior Business Development Manager to develop new contacts and introductory sources for the Finance 4 Business Group by engaging with professional services in Birmingham and the greater West Midlands area. My previous experience includes 28 years at West Brom Building Society, 10 years at Clydesdale Yorkshire Bank and 4 years at Investec. In addition to this I sit on the Greater Birmingham Chamber of Commerce (GBCC) Council and I’m a committee member of West Midlands Irish Business Group.
I spent 28 years within Lloyds Banking Group predominantly within the commercial sector. During my final 10 years within LBG, I was responsible for delivering significant change initiatives within Commercial Risk Division whilst ensuring ongoing compliance.
After such a lengthy period within one organisation. I was keen for a new challenge and readily accepted the opportunity to join Finance 4 Business as Compliance Manager.
My combination of experience across risk, compliance and change delivery makes me ideally positioned to proactively support Finance 4 Business in the changing Regulatory landscape.
I joined Finance 4 Business in 2010, enrolling on to their new training programme.
BDM - Midlands/North
I joined Finance 4 Business in 2017, with a remit to generate further business from the Midlands based counties.
Having worked for Barclays Bank for 25 years in a variety of roles including BDM and Branch Manager, I decided to Set up my own company, specialising in Buy to Let and investment properties. I joined Finance 4 Business in December 2016 as a BDM, as I could see the benefits of having the brand of Finance 4 Business supporting me.
Coming initially from a mechanical engineering background, I ran a city centre Residential Letting Agency for 16 years before moving into Banking. Initially with HBOS and latterly with Lloyds Commercial. I have joined the Finance 4 Business Commercial Mortgages team in 2018.
I joined Finance 4 Business in late 2017. Previously specialising in regulated 2nd charges, I am now transferring those skills to Commercial Mortgages.
Head of Bridging and Development
I am CeMAP qualified individual concentrating on regulated bridging and development cases. I have been with Finance 4 Business since 2014. Gained experience from Lloyds bank. Degree Accounting and Business Management, Finance
I joined Finance 4 Business in August 2013, after 7 years with Lloyds Banking Group. Working within the branch network as a customer adviser. Initially supporting the Bridging & Development Team as a Case Manager, I now work as a Sales Adviser dealing with complex solutions.
I joined Finance 4 Business as an apprentice after leaving school in 2015. Having successfully completed my apprenticeship, I am now continuing my development working within the Specialist & Commercial Mortgage Team as a Case Manager.
Following almost 4 years at Anthony Collins Solicitors, I was presented with the opportunity to become a Case Manager at F4B working in the Bridging and Development team and subsequently joined in September 2017. Having enjoyed a successful time in this role I have now worked up to a Sales Adviser position in the Bridging and Development team. Working in the Financial Services sector had always been of interest with the pace and energy and somewhere I can continue to pride myself on client care and finding the most stress-free solutions. Outside of work I have keen interests in football and metal music.
I joined Finance 4 Business in November 2017 as a Case Manager within the Commercial Mortgages Team. My main role is to assist with cases within the Commercial Mortgages Team to manage the transactions through to completion as quickly as possible.
After passing my degree in Media & Communications, specialising in Graphic Design. I worked in the marketing department of an Energy Brokerage, creating bespoke advertising campaigns for both traditional and digital marketing channels. I joined Finance 4 Business in early 2017 as a Marketing Executive, managing design and social media for both B2C & B2B.

From leaving school, I joined Finance 4 Business in September 2017 on a Business Administration Apprenticeship. My first position was Executive Assistant where I formed part of the Marketing and Operations team. My role is varied and includes supporting our Managing Director and Operations Director, greeting visitors to the office, registering new introducers are amongst some of my duties. No day is ever the same and I have really enjoyed the challenge. I now work as a Case Manager for the Bridging and Development team, supporting Amy Hudson with a number of cases.
